Working with University of Waikato – New Zealand

In the morning of February 06, 2020, Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration had an appointment with Ms Nguyen Lam Giang – the director of International Division in the Southeast Asia, University of Waikato – New Zealand. On behalf of TUEBA, there were Prof.Dr Do Anh Tai – Vice Rector; Dr. Nguyen Bich Hong – Deputy Head of Department of Science & Technology – International Cooperation; Dr. Pham Van Hanh – Head of Faculty of Business Administration.

At the appointment, 2 parties introduced about their own organizations and student exchange programs as well as staff mobilitiy programs which they are collaborating with other foreign partners. Two sides identifed 3 trends in cooperation between 2 universities including: credit recognition programs, student exchange programs, research joint programs.

University of Waikato is one of the public universities in Hamilton- the fourth biggest city in New Zealand. Nowadays, it is ranked 166 in the top of universities in the world. With the development orientation tending to  revolution and flexibility, the University often provides advanced training program in order to facilitate  their student  skills and knowledge to meet the requirements of business environment and advanced  science and technologies in the world.

The appointment ends successfully and widen the cooperation in education and training between 2 universities, especially in parallel area between 2 universities.
