In the morning of October 4^th, 2019, Thai Nguyen University formally organized the 15-year Anniversary of construction and development.

The anniversary witnessed joining of Prof. Dr. Pham Hong Quang – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Secretary of the Party Committee, Director of Thai Nguyen University; Assoc.Prof.Dr. Do Anh Tai – Secretary of the School’s Party Committee; Assoc.Prof. Dr. Tran Quang Huy – Rector of TUEBA; School Board; leaders of provincial People’s Committees, leaders of organizations and agencies inside and outside of Thai Nguyen province.

TUEBA was honored to welcome representatives and experts coming from other foreign universities such as: Central Philippine University, Pampanga Research Organization, Donhonorio Ventura State University (Philippines) ), Queensland University of Technology (Australia), University of Hamburg (Germany), Justus-Liebig-Universität Gießen (Germany), Fairleigh Dickinson University (United States), Shanghai Maritime University (China), Academy Flag (Bangladesh), Central Grand National (Taiwan).

Generations of teachers and students of TUEBA together reviewed its 15 years of history. TUEBA is a higher education institution member of Thai Nguyen University, established under the Prime Minister’s Decision No. 136/2004 / QD-TTg dated on August 02, 2004, on the basis of merging the Agricultural Economics Faculty of Thai Nguyen University of Agriculture and Forestry and Industrial Economics Faculty of Thai Nguyen University of Industrial Engineering. In the first days of foundation, it faced with numerous difficulties, including lack of human resources and facilities. To overcome these challenges, TUEBA lecturers and students together contribute to building the school and create worthy achievements. After, 15 years of construction and development, TUEBA has became a dynamic, innovative, active university in the process of integrating with other universities in region and in the world.

By 2019, the University has 9 departments, 7 faculties and 9 units to support training and research. It also owns the high quality of human resources including 433 employees (315 lecturers, 118 staffs), in which there are 10 associate professors, 61 doctors, 283 masters and 91 lecturers doing PhDs.

TUEBA has 3 building blocks for training with ​​acreage of 14,492 m2; 01 administration building blocks with acreage of ​​5000 m2. The library has 41.104 books with nearly 1,000 books sponsored by the network of Asia University. In addition, lecturers and students can also use the Learning Resource Center of Thai Nguyen University, which is one of the most modern libraries in Vietnam. The university currently manages 4 dormitories with acreage of ​​9,308 m2.

In recent years, TUEBA has made fundamental changes in the quality of education and training in the direction of standardization, modernization, international integration to catch the global trends.  It also offers 11 undergraduate programs, 05 high-quality training programs with 90% of the subjects taught in English; 04 post graduate programs and 02 doctoral programs.

In addition, the University also provides 01 undergraduate programs, 02 post graduate programs which are joined programs organized in collaboration with Central Philippines University. These programs regular renewed to assure the learning outcomes and tend to national quality accreditation. In 2018 – 2019, the university has 6.551 students. Many of them just needs 3 years to fulfill their curriculum. After 1 years of graduation, 95,6% of students found their jobs and 77,7% of them having works which are suitable with their major. This proves that the high percentage of students having a job after graduation is an evidence of the school quality training.
