Workshop: “Future Career Orientation for TUEBA Students in the Digital Age – Opportunities and Challenges”

In the morning 13th, January, 2020, Thai Nguyen University of Economics and Business Administration in collaboration with Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales and Shinhan Bank (Thai Nguyen Branch) hold a workshop on: “Future Career Orientation for TUEBA Students in the Digital Age :”Opportunities and Challenges”

The workshop witness the participants of:

Ms. Vu Le Huong – Institute of Chartered Accountant in England and Wales; Mr. Nguyen Minh Duong – Director of Shinhan Bank, Thai Nguyen Branch;  Assoc. Prof. Tran Nhuan Kien – Vice Rector of TUEBA; Assoc.Prof.Tran Van Quyet – Head of Department of Science – Technology and International Cooperation; Head of TUEBA’s departments and freshmen.

The workshop was organized In the circumstance of rapid development of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, which forecast the transformation of all production and management system, especially using robot, AI, automation instead of doing by humans. In addition to new opportunities, the revolution also poses serious challenges such as disrupting the labor market. When automation replaces manual labor in the economy, when robots replace people in many fields, millions of people could fall into unemployment.

In this situation, it is very important to choose a career because it will affect one person’s future, job, life, happiness, money and the success.

Choosing the wrong career means putting you in an uncertain future.

During the workshop, delegates shared many their valuable experience which could orient the student’s future career. Thanks for this orientation, they could choose their career basing on subjective and objective factors to choose their suitable job and having more opportunities to develop their career future.
