About the ICAEW 100 competition

ICAEW is searching universities in Southeast Asia to find the brightest 100 students with the potential to be the next generation of business leaders.

Currently, 78 of the FTSE 100 companies have an ICAEW Chartered Accountant on their board – this is because our members are recognised by businesses for their ability to make recommendations and decisions that positively impact future strategy and performance.

Do you have a good blend of professional skills? Are you proficient at multi-tasking and prioritising? If so, the ICAEW 100 competition is for you.

ICAEW is inviting you to test your skills against your peers by taking a short online exercise. Students with the top 100 scores by the time the competition closes will be in with a chance of winning exclusive opportunities and prizes.

First prize

The student with the highest overall score will win:

  • US $2,000!
  • A one on one employability skills session with a member of our student recruitment team. You will learn how to improve your interview technique, create an eye catching CV and increase your commercial awareness amongst other skills.

As well as this amazing opportunity, there are a range of prizes up for grabs for students who have excelled in certain areas of the exercises.

How to get involved

To be in with a chance of winning, you’ll need to register your details and then take part in the two online exercises, which shouldn’t take more than 45 minutes in total. But be careful: you will only be able to try the exercises once so make sure you have allowed enough time before you start. The overall score of the online exercises will determine who makes it into the ICAEW 100. Once you have completed the online exercises, you’ll receive an email confirming whether your overall score has qualified for one of the 100 places on the leader board. The 100 places will be listed in alphabetical order and NOT ranking order, which means that you’ll need to wait to see if you’re number one when the competition closes.

By taking part in the competition you will also receive a bespoke feedback report that has analysed your strengths, enabling you to develop your capabilities and maximise your potential in the next step of your career.
